I got a call from an old friend the other day that needed a concert poster drawn up. I gave him a great deal on what I figured would only take about 4 hours. Turned out to be about 3x that, but hey, it was fun. The progression of the piece went from a list of info to include, then a totem-pole type layout structure, then shot a photo of my initial sketch, and finally importing into Photoshop and adding more color and graphics.

Big expansion coming soon. I’m about to triple my screen print count with new designs and transfers. This move will mean I’ll have to be careful about how the growth happens but will overall be a great way to bring more of my creative efforts to the marketplace. I hope to have all the new designs posted to the website here soon.

Working on a new screen printing press design now… the plans are intended to be easy to read and understand. I have two presses of my own and am just tired of having to work around the design flaws of each press. The design I’m working on will incorporate all-wood construction, bolts and screws. I’m going to strive to make this a nice single head printer as well as a dual and even four head press. Exact registration will be crucial.

I developed the 20×24 Exposure Unit for sale here on my website months ago and have sold many sets of plans. I’m happy to say that I’ve had no one ask any questions or anyone who’ve had problems with them… I have had many nods and thanks for the plans. It feels good to produce a quality product that people can actually use and save money while doing so.
